HI from Tennessee. I just bought a used hds 2135 so that is what has brought me to this forum. It has already been very helpful and I look forward to talking with my fellow cub owners.

I have an IH cub cadet 382. the mower deck is really shot. went to a dealer to check the prices on a new one and was told there is no listing for a 382, it was either a 282 or a 482. the ID tag is the orginal tag and clearly states it as a 382. what gives then. went to craigslist and found the deck there, but the $$$$ was 4x the cost of a new deck for the 282, which i was told is the one that would most likely be the deck i needed(99%) by the dealer. i live in the mid-west part of Minnesota(boo twins, Yah all other teams):tractor:

hi there, I not much of a poster, but I just bought a new cub Cadet LTX 1050, and wanted to use a tow behind tiller with it, but the manual states it is not designed to use any type of ground breaking attachments... if anyone out can give me some ideas so I just don't have a big lawn mower and have to buy another tractor for the tow behind tiller. Thanks

Another new member.

Had Cubs in the past, went through a period of other stuff and now I am back on a Cub Cadet.
Got it this spring.

OK, enjoying the forum, and REALLY appreciate the advice I have gotten so far.

I'm Joe Wiggins, and live outside of San Antonio. Career Air Force guy, working in combat camera and public affairs, with three deployments under my belt. Now off active duty and working as a civilian for the U.S. Navy, on an Army post. Ain't life funny?

Been taking stuff apart and putting it back together since I was old enough to get my hands on my dad's tools (used to drive him crazy, but he never stopped me from working on cars).

Running a 2008 Husqvarna XT722E push mower and a 2007 Cub Cadet LT i1046 with the Kohler Courage twin engine I picked up new at one of the big box stores. I've owned Briggs engines virtually all of my life, but bought the Cub with the Kohler, hoping I have bought my last lawn tractor.

Look forward to talking to all of you over the months ahead.

Joe
