This motor uses a lot of oil, and started all at once. I flushed out the oil breather. 2 different compression reading two diffent times. 110 and 210. This morning, 165 and 180. Which seems high for a small motor. I don't have a cylinder leak down tester yet. What could it be? Thanks

The governor isn't stuck. The cable works ok. The choke and throttle plates moves ok with the cable. It doesn't accelerate. Stumped.

The jet won't stay put when inserted. It prevents the flat side of the plastic part from seating on the carb body. Anybody? Thanks

The belt still has an inch to go before getting around the drive pulley. The OP manual says it uses a 754-0371a belt. I think the belt is supposed to go on easily with the deck lowered.

Briggs 311777 0209e1 It is a 13.5 hp ohv motor. Do the two little cups go between the rocker and valve stem or on the outside end of the push rods? The pushrod ends are different shapes. One is round and the other is oblong. I see there is a Briggs sub heading. Next time. Thank you.

It has a new belt on but when in off position, it has about 2 1/2" off slack and comes off the pulley. The idler pulley is going back and forth. There is a belt diagram and it should be good there. What should I do? Thanks
