The drive belt is good and the linkage to the transmission works ok.
How can I fix it?
Thanks

You said checked the drive belt this mower uses two drive belts so you to check both of them.

I can only see one for the drive and one for the deck

I take that back. Looks like a belt could be missing on a double pulley.

This mower is new to me. The deck is off, and the belts are on it. With the motor running, the motor pulley isn't turning. When the f/r lever is moved the motor dies with one or the other pedals pushed in. Do both have to be down?

So with the engine running, the pulley that is on the engine crankshaft isn't spinning?

Ok, the wheels turn with the seat safety switch pushed down
Wonder why it won't move with wheels on the ground, unless the belt is slipping

Took out the jack and mower moves but not much speed and noisy. New lower drive belt?
