I feel like ranting about something stupid for a minute, so don't mind me, lol. Now that it's winter, I've been finding myself driving at night a lot more often.... And getting blinded by a**holes who forget how to turn their brights off. My eyes are sensitive to light, so to me it's bad...

This is the hill that I get to maintain. If we had a ZTR I would be able to knock it out in 20 minutes, however we are stuck with the tractor, weed whacker and push mowers so it takes us approximately 1 1/2 hours to get it done.

Did a leaf removal job yesterday... in the rain.

Sick with a cold again.... Plugged up nose, coughing, sore throat, just loving it. Cutting grass when it's cold probably doesn't help either, lol.

How do you guys handle lawns that are extremely dusty? I hate it because everytime I mow a lawn that throws dust like no tomorrow, I end up coughing like hell for a couple days after.

It never seizes to amaze me seeing a pickup truck pulling lawn equipment driving like they're Mario Andretti or something. Almost every time I see a lawn care business truck, the guy driving seems like he owns the road or something.

Do you ever have days where you decide that it is just way too hot to cut grass? Like for example, if it's 100 degrees Fahrenheit. And also when it is hot, what do you do to help stay cool?

For a lawn tractor like mine (15 HP), how much weight do you think I can pull without completely destroying my transmission? I do A LOT of hauling with my tractor, sometimes when I haul a load of dirt I wonder if I'm hauling too much weight. Just curious so I know what ny limits are.

How hard is it to replace the starter solenoid on my Craftsman? It fried the other night.

One of my favorite things to do. Mow the storage area in my trailer park at 9 in the morning while drinking coffee and listening to Mark Levin. In a way I find that relaxing.

Do any of you guys have a preference on which mower to use? I own two push mowers, and I usually use the one on the left, I think because I've had it for 3 years and it starts a hell of a lot easier than the one on the right. The one on the right only has about 7 hours on it and it still takes...

How often do you guys change the oil in your equipment? I try to change it in my lawn tractor about once per month, I put 15 hours on it per week. I just changed the oil in everything today.

I've always wanted to rig a lawn tractor as a project. Put a radio in it, put headlights in it that have low and high beams, and even replace the drive pulleys so it could go faster. Something like that would be cool. Just an idea.:licking:

Mower is dry, grass is dry, hasn't rained in several days. Even mowing in the heat of the day, bright and sunny out and it still clogs. What the hell is going on here? It's starting to piss me off.

How can I avoid punching holes on my customers skirting with my weed whacker? I mow in a trailer park, and I'm VERY careful when I weed whack around the skirting, but holes still get punched! How can I avoid this?

Saw a thread that is FULL of nasty rage. I don't have much of an opinion because I do not own a ZTR. Do you think that ZTR owners should be ticketed if the ROPS bar is missing?
