As for fall and spring cleanup, I did almost 2,000 bushels last fall with my Scag Tiger Cub/collection system. I use my BR 600 to clear leaves away from objects and suck them up with the Scag ZTR.

I'm going to go to both my Echo and Stihl dealers soon and try them both out.

How much does the 600 retail for? Around $500, correct?

You should be able to get the BR 600 for $479 that's what I paid for each of mine. I'd keep check for sales, Stihls always putting the things on sale.

OK. I am going to demo both blowers (at the dealers), so maybe after I try one I will have a more clear decision on Echo vs. Stihl.

You can double the warranty just by purchasing some Stihl prewixed fuel or some Premium oil, check out the Stihl website for details.:licking:

Something else you may want to check or that may be of interest and help you make your choice

Echo had that deal going awhile back....it would be nice if they would do it again.

For me the number is not that much at all, due to the fact I will only be running it 2 months during the fall, and not a huge # of hours a week. But it's something to think about.

I know you say it's not going to be used that much but I can see that changing and it's just something that I would take into consideration for future use. As you grow it's something that could effect your bottom line.
