intek 12.5 hp engine cylinder head gasket need to confirm part #

hlw49 I'm done w/ TDC wasted about 4 hours.

I managed to adjust the valves lower valve set to .004 top valve .006
she did crank up. I then mowed the back yard 1/2 acre. turned her off to gain access to front yard she didn't want to crank up but I continued to turn her over then she did start.

I didn't like to force her to crank up.

maybe the valves expanded when hot could setting both valves at .005 resolve the expanding metal where she will crank up normally hot or cold?
additionaly do you Guys ever run seafoam though the fuel?
thanks

Watch the video. Engine has to be on top dead center on the compression stroke to adjust the valves.
Actually to use that method the piston must down 1/4" pass the TDC compression stroke. This way the ACR bump is not in the way. It is just easier to use the older method of adjusting each valve independently by having one fully open and adjusting the opposite valve.

Yes you are right about the 1/4 past TDC never tried the one valve fully open and adjust the other one. I will have to try it on the next one I do.

The B&S engine you have uses an OEM head gasket P/N-273280S or after market equal to it Rotary P/N-11071 or Stens P/N-465-043. We have them in stock.
