Having been to England only once (briefly), I'm far from an expert on the topic. But it seems to me that they sure love their sheds. Which makes me love England. Evidence is provided at the following link: Readersheds.co.uk | We love sheds Home of Shed of the Year 2011 . (hope I don't get into trouble for posting an external link).

Anyway, I have always dreamed of living in a neighborhood where the guys all had top-notch sheds and brilliant projects going on inside them, and one could drop by any time to enjoy a drink, a smoke, some discussion and puttering around with engines and tools.

When I was younger I had an AMC rebuild project in my garage, and had several friends in the neighborhood with similar projects. We'd circulate among garages in the evenings, working on stuff.

Does anyone here have that situation? What's your shed like?
