How do you guys handle lawns that are extremely dusty? I hate it because everytime I mow a lawn that throws dust like no tomorrow, I end up coughing like hell for a couple days after.

Do you ever have days where you decide that it is just way too hot to cut grass? Like for example, if it's 100 degrees Fahrenheit. And also when it is hot, what do you do to help stay cool?

For a lawn tractor like mine (15 HP), how much weight do you think I can pull without completely destroying my transmission? I do A LOT of hauling with my tractor, sometimes when I haul a load of dirt I wonder if I'm hauling too much weight. Just curious so I know what ny limits are.

With the video I put on here, does it sound like my valves need to be adjusted? It was running perfectly fine yesterday, then when I started it today, it was making this noise. I don't know if it's either the valves, the cold (11°F), or something else. My engine is a Kohler Command 15 HP OHV...

How hard is it to replace the starter solenoid on my Craftsman? It fried the other night.

One of my favorite things to do. Mow the storage area in my trailer park at 9 in the morning while drinking coffee and listening to Mark Levin. In a way I find that relaxing.

How often do you guys change the oil in your equipment? I try to change it in my lawn tractor about once per month, I put 15 hours on it per week. I just changed the oil in everything today.

I've always wanted to rig a lawn tractor as a project. Put a radio in it, put headlights in it that have low and high beams, and even replace the drive pulleys so it could go faster. Something like that would be cool. Just an idea.:licking:

I take Memorial Day off. They say to give a moment of silence, I give a whole day of silence. Those who died for this country deserve it. I even refuse to start my tractor. I know that sounds crazy but that's how I am.

Mower is dry, grass is dry, hasn't rained in several days. Even mowing in the heat of the day, bright and sunny out and it still clogs. What the hell is going on here? It's starting to piss me off.

How can I avoid punching holes on my customers skirting with my weed whacker? I mow in a trailer park, and I'm VERY careful when I weed whack around the skirting, but holes still get punched! How can I avoid this?

Saw a thread that is FULL of nasty rage. I don't have much of an opinion because I do not own a ZTR. Do you think that ZTR owners should be ticketed if the ROPS bar is missing?

So, recently whenever I drive my Craftsman, about once or twice when I make a hard turn it's been skipping. Yesterday I looked at it and noticed some of the teeth are worn. That and it's a little loose. I don't know who the hell thought of that design, but it sucks! Couldn't they have come up...

Did a little cleaning up on my yard today. Raked up some leaves and loose grass.

This is why you change your air filter, folks. :tongue: And that's only one year of commercial use, along with blowing it with compressed air every 2 weeks.

I am still deciding on what I want to do. Here in Michigan it is starting to warm up, and according to the forecast it's going to be in the 50's by April. Should I... A) Wait in case we get more snow, or... B) Ditch the winter equipment and prepare for spring?
