OK, spoke to NGK tech dept. On the Hex of the NGK plugs is a stamping of letters & numbers. (usually only 4 in total) If the 1st letter is a "U" the plug is legit NGK, & assembled in Thailand. Most of those have a plastic cover over the tip, instead of the usual thin cardboard as well. But...

Well I'll say this, no more plugs from anywhere else than O'Reillys. they are always from Japan, & only cost $2.49 ea. Not assembled in Thailand. These were for back up, the BPR4ES.......6578 for my Kawasaki. Guess I'm keeping them..

Yea, seems to be mostly on the iridium plugs. But can't rule out the regular ones, like I use.

Well china is neighbors to Thailand. But there is a big Fake NGK plugs thing going on.. Just a FYI.

This is a 1st for me. Just got my order in, & the Spark Plugs are made in Japan, but assembled in Thailand.. Boxes look slightly different, but same everything else. I tested the Ohm resistance on these & they are between 4K - 6k Ohm. Which is fine. They are resistor spark plugs.

On my drain pans, I have marks & amounts marked on them, so I measure how much I get outta my Z for example, No guess work.

Well my 15+ year old MTD (Made in USA B&S Flathead powered) push mower, hasn't skipped a beat in all those years. But I would not buy one today. And my Toro Timecutter has been great from day one back in 2014.

Is the engine & cylinder fins free of debris under the blower housing ?

Throw that E3 spark plug away & put in a matched pair of what it calls for.

I've been using Rotella T-4 for a few yrs now. It is JASO rated & does have 1,200 ppm of zinc in it among many other things.

After draining is completed, wipe the inner end of the drain hose end with high temp grease, lightly, then replace hose. This will make next time easier off & on.

I'd only offer to do more diagnostic testing. Throwing new parts at it can get expensive & frustrating. I'd have removed the float bowl & inspect, after you found good gas flow to the carb.

Yes Bert, a sister plate, (I hear this term more in carpentry on stiffening floor joists. Or where I came from, it was termed "Fish-plating". Same result & process. Done properly, it can become much stronger than the frame ever was.

By "Boot" I'm thinking you are referring to what Americans call the trunk on an automobile, am I close ?

If you only hand-tighten the oil filters, like they instruct. they should come off with out too much effort. If not a strap wrench helps.

The poly cart/ wagon I have has 4 pneumatic tires, the lil woman likes to pull it around by hand to do her planting stuff. But I pull it with my Toro Z, & got it from Harbor Freight years back, dump able & was only like $79. Plenty for our needs.. IIRC, 600 lb capacity.

Looked at those tires, I haven't had a flat yet (Hope I didn't just jinx myself. ) But the cost stops me, I'm just doing my place.

My 2014 Toro manual says nothing other than to read the sidewall in the front or anywhere else in the manual. I have read it front to back. My fronts read 22psi MAX. So I'm close to that @ 24psi.

Good you got your tires aired. Front tires take 22 psi & I run 12psi in backs. It's written in the owners manual of 12 for rears. My book says to read the sidewall for fronts tho. That shows 22 psi, so that works for me. (actually I do run 24 in fronts tho) .. LOL Then on a flat surface I...
