Better to be the bugger than the buggee....

If you are using the term "bugger" in it's real meaning, then I congratulate you in "coming out of the closet". Though I myself am not of that persuasion, I am thankful that someone like you can be a part of this overwhelmingly masculine forum.
It brings a breathe of fresh air when you can share your personnel feelings with us!
Thank you.

Look up the term "bug" in the dictionary, it means to "annoy, bother, anger, etc". In no way did I use the term bugger to imply I am a gay person...oh yes, I feel MUCH better now revealing why I stay on LMF...to annoy, bother, pester, etc.

Don't worry, I will!

By the way, I can't believe you contemplated leaving LMF! The King can't leave his post!

Do people really prepare haggis? I was thinking it was an ancient tradition and not cooked much any more.
Most people in this country shy away from organ meats, especially the younger generation (McDonalds generation).

You didn't use the term "bug", if you read your post. You used the term "bugger", which you can look up and see what you really meant.
Perhaps it was just a Freudian slip?
Anyway, congratulations, you are an asset to this forum!
Good for you.

"Bug" is a verb, like "run". If you bug then you could be refered to as the "bugger". Jusr as if you run you would be refered to as the "runner". It's quite clear actually. Not to difficult to understand.
