Swamp and Alkali by the looks of it,..no wonder its designated "park" it ain't no good for anything else IMO

That white you see is sand, just like beach sand. The swamp is probably an old sink. Although you probably couldn't farm it or use it as pasture, it holds a lot of game. From a deer or hogs perspective there's a lot of food there.

My friends and I visited Beijing just last week and they sure had a great weather going. There weren't that much snow anymore, but I would prefer to go about with life without that much of it anyway. But the weather is still pretty cold with a -3 almost on the average of the day.

Back home though, I couldn't wait to start with the making again, not that it is something that I enjoy doing on the regular.
