Well Robert, now I know why you look the way you do:laughing: It seems to me that the gater could have turned on you just as easily. I'll keep my distance, you there and me here.
Alligators have a really hard time turning and they have virtually no reverse. They only know how to charge forward in an emergency, not back up and assess the situation.
Knowing this, and and the fact that their first line of defense is retreat to water, leads me to take what you see as a risk. Having dealt with alligators many times, and having a good understanding of how they think and what their limitations are.... it's not a gamble to me.
Your assertions are unfounded, you, living in Massachusetts have no knowledge of such things, your more concerned with gay rights, civil unions, afraid of guns, and hope like hell someone else will defend your life and property should the time come. :biggrin:
