Nice squatch!:laughing::biggrin: Are you gettin any work out of him? I heard they will work all day for a couple of bananas......
He looks like he needs something to do.... Maybe you could fleece him and knit a nice sweater....eh?

That is a beautiful.......pond. I'll bet there's a moose or 2 nearby in the late summer.
What has the shoreline all turned over, don't look like buffalo from here. Is there a beaver around?

That's a waterering hole for the buffalo( it's one of my daughters in the pic)
It had beavers in it one time but they chewed down to many trees, so i killed them.
I had a moose and calf there all summer,+..couple geese,a flock of pintails and a pair of sandhill cranes.

Nah,that squatch is about as lazy as me,..can't get nuttin out of him either

A couple years ago I got some pictures of deer in the backyard. They are nice to look at but I do get concerned of lime disease etc. The also eat all of my blueberries, pears and some apples.

And they will eventually step out in front of a car on the road...

Not if you put them in the freezer.

On another note, don't blame the deer,..it's the car's driver that is at fault,..cars hit people too.

Not if you put them in the freezer.

Freezing the deer provides a much safer environment for them.
Eating the deer greatly reduces the risk of lyme disease.
If you don't eat limes, you can get lime disease.
Everyone should be a little safer now....my work is done here.

Your obviously referring to Lyme Disease.
You should know that Deer cannot infect you with this bacterium.
The disease is spread by tics and it's not something that you can't easily avoid.
You should be mildly concerned with tics and only if they attach themselves to you, and then only if they do so and remain undetected for over 24 hours.
Do not fear the deer.
If your going to put one in the freezer...Remember It's a lot easier if you cut them up first.
Contact me for recipies should you need them :licking:

Yes your right I was refering to lyme disease. I know that you can't get the disease from the deer but its the deer that carry the ticks. Unfortunately the deer can not be shot too many houses as well as a school. I live in a city of 43K. My lot is almost 2 acres, but the average lot size here is 10,000 to 12,000 sq. ft.
