Too high a carbon in the steel, you should be able to see a weak point..!

Nasty blade break, did it fly out from under the deck?
My service manager from the 70s would say, "that is when the unstoppable rotating object strikes the unbreakable object"!!!

It's a gator blade, the numbers on the blade are or looks like 110-0358 and 1155152 and it didn't fly any where, I had to move the mower to find the broken half of the blade, weird thing is I didn't hit anything??

I will say just a bad blade.
We can see by looking at it that you did not hit anything. I would just ask for a replacement.
Only time I have seen this happen is when mulching very thick grass or leaves and the deck getting clogged. Most times would be the left side blade.

That is very strange! I have nevery seen that. Luckilly it didn' fly out and strike something...

My first guess was that it was always overtightened, but that makes no sense. It must simply be a weak point.

I would like to see the broken egdes, they will tell the real story. Cracked, sheared, or possible inclusions. If you could get a couple of real good clear pictures. I would appreciate it.
