As I see it you started it. And yes I am being very negative. I sure don't have to prove a thing to you. If you ask for free advice for repairs I will try to be very helpful but when you start hitting on me not the case.

Read the thread to refresh your memory. Go ahead Reread the thread, I did not start it.

Never had any GM stock, but I did a very good job of losing all my Kodak stock.

Things must be a lot different in Canada then the US. All you are going to get here for 5-6 grand here is well used old worn out junk. Just what are you buying for vehicles? Anything in the US that has low mileage and in good condition starting prices are in the high teens and that isn't new.

All GM products, luck is with you.. GM is one of the best money makers for us poor mechanics. Keep buying them so the parts store will love you.

You are right on every count, make it a lot easier and just call me a *******. I worked with GM for around 25 years and that is what I have always owned and will own in the future. I have seen a lot of bad products that GM has put on the public through the years like it or not. You must not of had it stuck in your *** with one of the first diesel GM pick-ups. I repaired them ( with very poor skills) not made them. I sure hope this makes you very happy because I don't give a **** how you think.

I must be slow, where is the advice here? Maybe you can point it out to me?

How many years ago are you talking about, 35+ years ago, that's ancient history. What about Toyota buying back all the vans that liked to burn, that's not so ancient history and that just one story.

Yes I started in the car dealership in the early 60's. They all had callbacks as long as I can remember. Toyota over a Chevrolet. The Toyota will have far fewer repairs through the years. OK why is this? Its a shame that Japan can make a car with fewer repairs then we can. Also US made cars just have a better feeling to drive. I have worked on a lot of different brand cars and trucks through the years and they all have there good and bad points to them. Seeing this is a lawn mower forum no one agrees who makes the best mower so why do you think cars are any different. Now motorcycles what is better a Harley Davidson made of all steel or a plastic Honda. The Harley shakes and leaks oil and the Honda is very smooth, no oil leaks, have owned them both but just love that shake of the Harley 2 cylinder engine and its oil leaks. Now if you want to take a few more hits at me go for it because it wasn't me who **** in your cornflake a this morning.
