Hi all. New member here. I just got my new Raptor SD 60 last month and I love it. I found this site while searching for info about my rattling clutch. Looks like a great forum with lots of helpful info.

Hello All. I'm new to this forum. I stumbled by it on a Google search. I just bought a Hustler SD Raptor 48" and have used it 3 times so far. I own a 3 acre lot we just moved to this summer and I needed a fast mower. I'm very well pleased so far.

My name is Mark. I live in Florida on 8 acres. About 5 are mowable. I'm a new owner (1year) of a Hustler Fast Trak Super Duty with a 60" deck that I bought new from a

local dealer.

I would've gone with a bigger deck if I could've afforded it.

I wanted to join the forum to ask questions, find answers, offer help and save money. I belong to A Goldwing

forum and have saved lots of cash by using their suggestions. I'm having an issue now with the mower that I will bring up in another thread.

Welcome fellow rider. I belonged to a HD for several years and just sold it.

I joined for some of the same reasons and the Hustler forum is a good place to ask and get answers. Be sure to try the search function also.

Hi there everyone, I just ordered a 54" Raptor SD. If anyone has info or input on it, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, where would you be able to order a engine guard for it, & does the 60" seat fit on the 54"?
 
You can get the engine guard from any dealer they run about $100. I am not sure about the seat. I would ask a dealer about the seat but I would assume it would probably fit. The seat and the engine guard are 2 of the main reasons I went with the 60" instead of the 54" because if they added those 2 items it would have come out to almost exactly what I paid for the 60. Go with the nicer seat you won't regret it.

For some reason Lowe's was saying it wouldn't let them order the 60" so I just ordered the 54" for not a bad price $3598 out the door. At least I think that was a good price for it. But I called them back & i got the engine guard ordered from them for $67 with a 10% discount.
 
Hello, I am new to this forum and have been lurking on here for awhile now, so I decided to sign up. In 2014 I bought a Hustler Fast Trak Super Duty 48 inch zero turn mower. It has the Kawasaki engine and the Donaldson air cleaner. I love this thing. I use it every week in the season here in West Central Florida, which is usually around March to November or so. I have a mulching kit on it and I mulch a little over two acres with mulching blades. I love this mower!!!
