Using craigs list to sell stuff

i get people all the time wanting me to pull something off there cause there coming to get it or wanting me to hold it for them and i always tell them its first come first serve if its here when they get here ok if not im sorry but i have been burnt to many times doing that stuff sometimes i will meet them at another location but i nornmaly have all the stuff sitting out in the yard and working on other stuff for customers so i can just up and leave so most of the time they come to me unless they can wait till evening or first thing in the morning

I have bought and sold all kinds of stuff on c/l. I sold a car, a boat, lawnmowers, tools all kinds of things. Only problem with craigslisters is they all want something for nothing. They will try to negotiate on something that is already a fantastic deal. You can get lots of tire kickers though that never bite. Other times though you will sell something at your price in a matter of hours. I always ask that they call me first. Once I talk with them I will let them come to the house. I have bought tons of stuff on of c/l. Just this week I bought my first zero turn ariens on craigslsit. a zoom 1634 with the kohler motor with 160 hrs on it for 500 bucks. Pretty good I thought. There are always deals if you keep an eye out. But the good deals only last a short time so you have to be prepared to jump on them. Craigslist is an awesome resource to save some bread by buying used.
