I don't watch TV. It eats your brain cells like sniffing paint fumes - and tells you the world is something it's not (good OR bad side).

One thing about going without TV has changed in the last 15 or 20 years. Before the rise of the internet, people would look at me like I came from Mars if I told them I didn't have a TV. Now their reaction is much more moderated.

The parallel to not having a TV 20 years ago is to not be on Facebook now. :laughing: When I tell that to people these days I get those same horrified looks -- as if I don't really exist if I'm not on that website. :laughing:

Now that Amanda Knox is back home, and the world is awaiting the next second of the Jackson doc's trial, how long do you think the media is gonna jump all over this Steve Jobs story?

I predict they'll stomp and parade the issue until every last drop of decency, respect, and humanity is squeezed out in the name of ratings.

I think this post alone is worth MOTM, combining a twin engine plane AND a lawn tractor......:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Back about 1996, wife and I met two guys at the airpost in Mason, Michigan, guy driving the tractor is not the plane owner. We all flew to White Cloud, Michigan, to have breakfast. I offered to pay for part of the fuel, plane owner told me no, just pay for my meal. Cost me about $25 to pay the check for all four of us. Wife and I are pictured next to the plane. When we got back to Mason, guy fueled the plane up, it cost about $100 to make the trip there and back and gas was a LOT cheaper back then.

What a hoot...burning $100 worth of gas to go have breakfast....
