We're supposed to guess.

I'm guessing (s)he's got a push mower, and (s)he is referring to it as a pull-start.

Then, I'm gonna guess it's leaving scruffy spots in the yard.

Then, I'll suggest that you sharpen the blade.

BTW, no need to move a thread when a question hasn't even been asked.........:rolleyes: I've seen newbies start vague threads in the past, but this one takes the cake.

Well, then some thing won't be WONG anymore.

That's about one letter wong from the censorbot nabbing it....:biggrin: Pick your letter - there's two of them that a mistype could turn on the stars.....:laughing:

The rope is broken ? return spring is broken? needs lubrication? broken pawls? You are going to have to take it apart to know what is wrong. Hope you the best of luck seeing it can be a little tricky to rewind the return spring.
