Rechargeable batteries for lawn mowers

If they are anything like cordless tools the batteries are expensive and often not available after a couple of years. If these electric lawnmowers were to use a good rechargeable agm deep cycle battery they would be more practical but then they would weigh more than a gas engine mower.
