i have a old 1985 MTD. It has a 14hp Briggs and Stratton opposed twin engine. it starts first time every time without fail it cuts the grass ok but not great.
i also have a stiga park pro that is my project for the "summer". it has also got a 14hp Briggs but it is a v-twin vanguard which is nearly seized and that is one of many problems with it

anybody have any experience with a poulan pro30 30 in cut ,has a friction disk trans and will not go into reverse,just replaced spring,foward is ok.
any help is appreciated

I have several mowers / tractors. I cut with the JD LT133, bagger is for the leaves, and I have mulch blades for the grass. The JD 111 is a 1979. I restored for my son, has been in the family since new. The Wheel Horse is a model 854 that I restored for myself. I use it around the yard and have a plow for snow thi winter. The Kubota is a B4200, 2 cylinder diesel 4wd with 44" belly mower. We use it at a property we own in Ohio.
