I'm in the market for a new laptop computer, what model would be best to get? I'm using an Hp now and I'm not crazy over it. I would like to move up to a touch screen. Any suggestions?

I don't know if they make touch screens (bet they do tho) but I have a Lenovo. Lenovo is pretty good stuff. Used to be IBM.

They make touch screen everything nowadays. I was actually at Best Buy a few weeks ago and saw a worker demonstrating a laptop that had a touch screen.

If I were you, I would definitely go with Lenovo. I've never used one (I have a Dell desktop) but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

I have a lot of experience with electronics and your best bet is to go on CNET.Com they have thousands of reviews and many are on laptops. They give you the bottom line so you don't end up making a decision you will regret. If you had to make a quick decision though I would go with either Lenovo, Sony or Apple only Apple if you have prior experience though they are hard to get used to. good luck.

Then you heard wrong,..you should not believe everything you hear.
I got a Lenovo brand new in may last year, was a lemon straight out of the box,. no over the counter replacement either.
Been away for repairs for 2 months,..When it came back it had more problems than before,...went back for repairs a second time, was gone this time for 5 months,..used it twice before it broke down again.:thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:
Got in a huge fight with the seller who refused to take it back, i got the cops called on me cause i threatened to make a picture frame with his head in it out of the useless contraption.
I threw the Effen thing in a dumpster after breaking it in half on a corner of the bin:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I'm out $600

I ended up fixing my old Dell myself,..i should have done that to start with:thumbsup:

I never said they were perfect. Every brand has their lemons. I was just saying that, in my opinion, Lenovo is one of the best computers out there.

It's like saying that Chevys are one of the best vehicles out there, but they too have lemons.

I don't like any new computers. My desktop is a custom built computer from when I was a Gamer. Spent 6500 bucks back in the day (prolly the equavelant of a $500 computer now) it runs everything beautiful except I still have win xp and won't get rid of it either. Google stopped working because they don't support it anymore.

Look on craigslist find a computer builder guy and have him build you a custom laptop you won't regret it.. might cost a little more but just like a lawnmower with care it'll last a long time

I have a Lenovo and I love it! No problems at all, does anything I need and is fast plus it is touch-screen.
