This is on a Craftsman 42 in cut, purchased in 2004 the rest of the vehicle is in good condition,

Get the model number of the machine, go to smallenginewarehouse.com, scroll down to repower, click on it, click on Craftsman, look for your model number, click on it if it's there and see what may be available as a repower option.

Go on Lawn Mower Parts & Small Engine Parts by Briggs & Stratton

I know they have replacement engines there.

Go on Craigslist find a mower with a bad deck or transaxle use the engine off and keep the tires and scrap the rest.
Does not have to be a craftsman any rider with a Briggs will work. Worst case is you would have to change 3 wires.

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))
