I forgot the mention the connector for the solenoid on the bottom of the carburetor. Gently move the connector from side to side and see if the engine acts up.

The pins on the harness connect tend to spread and lose proper connection over time.

If that solenoid is an aftermarket, they always have trouble with connector fit issues.
Thanks! I will try that.

I also plan to adjust the pitch of the fuel line to the carb, so it does not sag.

I also installed a cut off valve which I did not have before (see pic). Could it be it is restricting fuel whenever I am at any type of slant?
No.

The position the valve is in is fully open.

Ran it for a little and then it stalled as I was going up a slant. Started back up and continued to run fine. It seems to be fuel related when I'm at a slant.
That is trash slash debris in the fuel tank. Pull the tank and flush out like a new one. Bet there is all kinds of bugs, leaves, dead grass, dirt dobbers and so on in there.

And that red filter is like a window screen. Not much filtering going on. Look inside the fuel filter for yourself. You will see a mesh screen inside.

Thanks - I plan to remove the fuel tank and clean it out!

I recently replaced the carb, oil, oil filter, air filter, and spark plug on my LT1000. It is misfiring and then stalls out. Anyone have any suggestions on what to try?
Take gas tank out, clean thoroughly, replace all fuel lines. Run with tank cap off. If problem recurs, ypu do not have a fuel delivery issue. If problem goes away, replace with OEM gas cap.

Why did you replace the parts? For this problem or just doing a tuen-up? If the problem is new, start with the easiest item, the spark plug, and put the original back in. If no change, air filter, then do the carb. Make sure you're installing new gaskets. I would expect that something would change the symptoms. During the time that it trying to stall, spray some carb cleaner into the carb opening pulsing it to try and see if it continues to run. I think you have a bad plug or bad carb. If the replacement is a Chinese special, 80% chance of it not running right. Plug the gas line off the carb and make sure you have good flow. If it has a fuel pump you must be cranking the engine for the gas to flow.

Plug gap is .030 inch for this plug. From the sound of things, the coil is failing when hot after running for 15-20 minutes. Coils are temperature sensitive when hot. They cool off and will work again for a short time.
