have a cub cadet gt1554 model 14ak13bk709 with the following engine kohler courage 27 hp model sv740-0010. first problem was there was no spark so replaced spark advance module (coil) ran for a few days then no spark. so replaced coils mower will start and run but when you turn it off it will not start again, let it set for a day it will start. coil orginal part number 24 584 63-s / 24 584 89-s these were suspended to 25 797 03-s. looking for any help to get this starting every time you turn the key

I would first check ground connections from engine to frame/chassis for being tight & secure by hand, try to move. Check all electrical connections, including Ignition Switch, PTO Switch, etc. behind dash & everywhere. Have you ever removed Blower Housing, cover over engine, & cleaned engine cooling fins. Grease, dirt, & debris will cause engine to overheat & create all kind of problems, including engine failure. Engines need to be clean so they can run cooler at all times without hesitation.
