kohler carburetor problem

Amazing. I just logged in for the same exact issue. Kohler CV Series.New Carb, all new fuel lines and Pump.Starts and shuts down,Looking for the anti-afterfire solenoid.

The after-fire solenoid is in the bottom center of the carburetor fuel bowl. Often times the connector pins are a poor fit, especially on aftermarket carburetors.

Turn the key on without cranking the engine, a faint click is usually heard at the carburetor if the solenoid is working. If no click, wiggle the wire connection gently and see if it clicks on and off as you move the connector.

Sometimes the female pins can be gently tightened with a small pick tool to correct the problem.

Thank you, I'll
check it now.

Hi Dartlover67,

Are both of the operator levers in the rest position?

I'm new to this old tractor Doc. Ill have to check. My brother gave it to me at the end of last season and I'm learning slowly.Operator Lever in the rest position refers to what?

Can you attach a picture. Your info says it is a zero turn. What brake are you referring too?

Just got it Doc.It was the safety switch.Cleaned it and it working fine.I cant thank you enough for your guidance.

Sometimes it is simple but seems difficult. The KISS (Keep It Simple Silly) principle typically applies.
