kohler carburetor problem

Amazing. I just logged in for the same exact issue. Kohler CV Series.New Carb, all new fuel lines and Pump.Starts and shuts down,Looking for the anti-afterfire solenoid.

The after-fire solenoid is in the bottom center of the carburetor fuel bowl. Often times the connector pins are a poor fit, especially on aftermarket carburetors.

Turn the key on without cranking the engine, a faint click is usually heard at the carburetor if the solenoid is working. If no click, wiggle the wire connection gently and see if it clicks on and off as you move the connector.

Sometimes the female pins can be gently tightened with a small pick tool to correct the problem.

Thank you, I'll
check it now.
