Yes it is. Was seized up, I pulled it off and lubed it with graphite. Glad to say is working great now!
 
I'm now working on a John Deere gx75 of my daughter. Seems to have ( I call) dead short. Keeps blowing fuse every time you turn key to start it. Replaced the ignition switch but to no avail. Gonna start chasing down the short tomorrow.
 
Blowing a fuse is a short.
When the fuse blows is it just when you turn the key on or when you go passed that and try to use the starter ?
Replacing the switch isn't the problem, it's down stream from that.
Does your ignition switch have 5 terminals ?
