When the solenoid gets 12 volts DC from the key, does the solenoid output have continuity with the input? Or input to output same thing? In other words will power pass from the battery TO the starter as normal?

When I turn key yes there is power to starter!
But solenoid does not click
I just took a ground wire from neg battery and grounded on frame and the solenoid activates when I turn the key but did not turn starter
Maybe something happend with my grounds. Where when this thing arched!
Now I'm really confused 😄

Key switch is supposed to send power to the solenoid when in the cranking position. Is it doing that? If so, then the solenoid pull-in winding is not working to activate the starter so it will crank the engine.

It is!
I will try and new ground tomorrow after my finding earlier!

She's alive again!!
Hallelujah
Took a ground from battery to engine mount and she came back to life!!
Thanks for all your help once again!!
From the mower graveyard and given new life then I killed her and brought her back to life again!! 😄

Retighten your engine mounting bolts as well. A ground problem is usually the last place that people think to look, but it is half of the 12V electrical system that makes thing work.
