That sure makes me safe seeing both of my parents were born in Holland. When they didn't want me to understand what they were talking about they would talk in dutch.

We dutchies were poor and could not afford leather shoes,so we made our own from a block of poplar.
They musta been the predecessor of the steel toed boots, they saved my feet and toes many a time in de barn when a dairy cow or horse stepped on them back when.
They are terrible to drive a car with though, got to be carefull not to step on the brake and trottle at the same time.
It is also very tough to sneak up behind some one without making noise
And when they wore out one could make a nice hanging flowerpot outa them.
I wore them all day every day for the better part of 30 years,i grew up with them.

OK, a further explaination is required, and now I'm on a proper computer at the library with a full size keyboard and not that tiny little one on my mother's BlackBerry, I can go into more detail.

A few days ago (maybe more, but I can't be too precise, I blame the fumes from my mower for my bad memory) the internet suddenly cut out, so I contacted the provider (who shall remain unnamed) and the outcome was cancelling the internet with them, but it isn't as simple as that. Because, there is still one month left on the 12 month contact with the provider in question, so I've got to wait until the 27th (again, I could be wrong) of March for the contract to end and then I can see about setting it up with another provider. But of course, that could take up to another month with the rate those people do things.

I hope I've cleared things up!

And I'll try and get to the library at least once a week to check and post on LMF, but obviously there are more important things than LMF (like mowing ) to be doing, so I may not get on as often as stated.

Bye guys!

I thought you might be of Dutch Ancestery. If I remember correctly their are alot of people of Dutch Ancestery in and around your area. Nice friendly people, especially the older generation.
