i have a hrm215k1sda with a broken ball clutch return spring. I know what it does, and it's under the mower deck and above the transmission any idea the easiest way to replace it?

Doug, what's the serial number off the back of the mower deck? (MXXX-1234567) I'll try and get a procedure posted here ASAP, but hang on, as I'm out of the office until Friday....

Robert,
Deck # is mzbb 6102478. You may not need it but engine # is gjab 6486160,
I've owned this mower since it was new (bought in 1994) and love it.
Other than two sets of wheels and normal maintenance, this has been the best
mower I've ever owned.
