Help with correct position for blade spindle pulleys

I have a model 20200 Timemaster 31200 serial series. I removed the spindles and the black plastic cogged pulleys to clean the spindle shafts and bearings. I am asking if anyone knows if these pulleys are installed with the metal double d shaped center up or down.
One dude of the pulley has a completely round metal center and the other side has the double d. What is the correct orientation double d side facing up to the sky or down facing the blades.

Thanks

Google search “toro model 20200 belt installation instructions”. You’ll find many tutorials to help you out.

It should be obvious but the double goes away from the spindle in order to tighten the spindle shaft to spec [bearing preload]. Of course Toro doesn't provide a public service manual on this model. So a dealer would have answer this question of spec.

BTW what is "One dude of the pulley"?

I tried to type the word SIDE but went right on the S and then went left on the I and the word DUDE appeared!!
I always attempt to edit before hitting send but obviously failed.

Thanks for your help. I installed the pulleys with the double d hub facing up.

Turn off auto correct spelling, I've had that screw me up several times.

We have AI auto fill to thank for this stupidity.

Believe me I can do several edits of posts as I am bad about leaving words out as I think a lot faster than I type. Sometimes have to wait; until, things get cold before I find the mistakes.
