The drum is held in by the circlip
Get your digital camera out and photograph the unit every time you take a part off.
The front & back simply pull apart then the circlip comes out and the drum comes off
If the drum is gone then usually the springs on the clutch are gone as well.
usual practice is drum & clutch as a unit.
