Found some discussion on the barber freight mower lift (300 lbs capacity) but no comments on its success or not. Have the lift for 80.00 on sale. I have 60 pioneer s-series Exmark. Looking for input....Would this work for safely lifting front end to work under the deck? Anyone used it? Thanks as always.

So does just in time mean that it is a good buy or that the other one in the link that is for farm/lawn for 200 a better choice?

I am assuming the one in the vid is the same one you are looking to get, correct? If what he showed and told about it seems good to you, then go ahead and get it. I cant use it as my ZTR weighs more than 1600lbs so a 300lb lift wont work really. I dont know what yours weighs, but if its in the 600-800lb range, it'll work just fine.

Thank you Midniteoyl for the reply. It is the same one. I am a researcher to a fault. Sometimes just need to talk it out with other Mower heads. The Exmark Pioneer S 60 inch I have is 948lbs according to the book. Was not sure of the weight of the Hustler in the video to compare to. Decided to buy and see what I think. Harbor Freight will take back if I feel it does not fit my needs.

300 lbs is the lifting capacity.
Stick a couple of bathroom scales under the front wheels .
I would be supprised to see more than 300 lbs on the front axle.
nearly all of the weight is on the back wheels.

I bought one a couple of years ago. I use it when I change blades on a ZG 222 Kubota. I have used it many times with no problem. I believe that most zero turns you check will not be heavier than 300#'s on the front end.

The verdict....success. Lifted up my 60 inch Exmark just fine to max height. Help firm and stable. Lots of room to get to underneath. I actually dropped down to second height as top height seemed to put a lot of angle on engine. For 80.00ish bucks, great buy IMHO.
