I see you and I spent the day doing the same thing. After winter it looked like a MOAB went off in my back yard - debris and limbs everywhere. And many more cracked limbs still up in the trees, needing to be taken down.

Third straight day of work at it, and four trips to the dump with my 8' bed loaded up like a conestoga wagon. I'm about 3/4 done.

Nice tractor.

Thanks! I bet I have 15 loads with that trailer to go to the woods with. That's not including all I'm going to use for the fire pit! This weekend won't be enuff, I fear.......:frown: It looks, in my yard, like a tornado went thru......

If it would just stop f***in RAINING............

Curious - is your fire pit for burning debris, or is it for social purposes? I have a fire pit in my backyard that we use year-round. The kids use it to warm up and roast hot dogs when swimming, and us adults use it like the old country-store woodstove - just sit around it chewing the fat. (and smoke and drink:thumbsup:).

Totally social. We have a swing we put in front of it, and watch the fire and get f-'d up......LOL:laughing:

Beer, wine coolers, radio. Good times!!!

JD won't turn over...battery's stone dead. I tried jumping it with my car....but I can't get enough of a charge built up in the battery to start it. Figured as much. Oh, well - the Snapper's battery as delivered was stone dead as well. The R72's battery works well in the Snapper, so I will just get another battery for the JD.

This won't count against it in the comparison. Nor will the tire that won't hold air. Nor will anything I have to do to get it up and running well. This mower has a TON more hours on it than the Snapper (and been half-a**ed 'restored' by untold # of people).
