Now that might be a brain overload. I know that nearly overloaded my poppy seed brain....Ask yourself - why do I need to see the fuel level?
My unswear would be you don't.
You can either just fill the tank to Max before work. If long days, refuel again to Max at lunch time.
OR
Go the full on geek way (my preference)
Easy!
- Fill the thank to Max.
- Note the time (or engine hrs)
- Operate the mower as normal
- When done, note the time (or engine hrs)
- Measured the amount of fuel that it takes to refuel up to Max
- Divide fuel top up quantity, by time taken. You now have your gallons/litres per hour consumption.
- From this you can estimate the fuel used, remaining and duration (time to empty tank)

OR, you could just put a fuel gauge on it. As Arlo Guthrie used to say, "just wanna ride my riding mower."Ask yourself - why do I need to see the fuel level?
