Engine starts well but mower doesn't stay on, fuel problem ?

Hello,
I have a Briggs and Stratton intek edge 7.0 engine in my lawn mower with number 12h602 0545 b1. I got it from a friend. At the beginning the engine did not start, with some break cleaner through air intake it started but it did not stay on. I decided to clean the carburetor, primer pump and air intake system. There were some small impurities but it did not look very dirty. After cleaning the mower starts immediately but same problem, it doesn't stay on. It seems that the enginge does net get enough fuel, but why ? The tank ventilation is ok, no filter, no fuel valve, fuel tube is ok, fuel is fresh, spark is there. Even if I open the throttle by hand the engine stops. Any I idea? Still dirt in carburetor ? Should I change the sealings? They still look ok. Thank you in advance!

Maybe double check the float. If it's set too high or the needle seat is worn out, fuel delivery gets messed up in a weird way that's hard to diagnose just by looking.
 
Have you checked the flow out of the tank? For cleaning the jet, I use a torch cleaning tool, it has many sizes of wire and brushes. The pic is from amazon, widely available.

There are safer liquids you can use. As in 2 stroke fuel mix. Ether for sure and brake cleaner (toxic and expensive) are poor choices.
I think so, maybe I should clean it again with a thin wire ?
Dog either you cleaned it or not. Do you even have a mower? LOL

Go get em Frank. Tell them like it is. If the float is high she will run rich. Low she will lean out. Needle and seat leaks can get you fuel flooding into the oil sump. Pull the oil stick and smell for gas. If so red flag.

Ah no you don't. You just threw it away remember?

Torch tip cleaners are hardened steel. You are attempting to clean soft brass jets and emulsion tubes. This can and will cause a richer running engine that makes MORE carbon that you do not want. Excessive carbon leads to scratches and gouges in the bore. Reason why EVERY mower manual states to de-carbon the engine in say 5-7 years. Chucks of carbon flake off getting between the piston and bore scratching these soft aluminum bores. Leads to using oil and smoking like a Diesel truck.

it works now, thank you, I cleaned the carburetor again and I guess I missed something the first time, something brown came out of one whole in the middle ... I used a thin copper wire for the small holes
