engine starts and dies

Don't overlook the easiest thing to check: Disconnect the fuel line at the engine and make sure it has a steady gravity flow. I've seen a rubber fuel line that swelled up on the inside so much that you couldn't push a coat-hanger wire into it.

This was happening to me where it started and like 5 minutes in it would just shut off. At first I thought it was something with the engine but it wasn’t. What I did was just change the regulator and it fixed it because it was just running off the battery from before. Hope this helped.
