Electrical problem I think scag

61" scag 27hp KAW LC , It would start without brake being engaged but only run for about 5 minutes spit sputter and die . Now there is no bypassing the switches and getting it started .. Module in console gone bad ?

Slip the cowl off and find the single wire from each coil.
Disconect them remove the plugs but leave them earthed out.
Crank the engine,
If there is no spark the module is toast.
If there is spark you need to trace the ignition cut out wiring back to find the fault.

Definitely give it a try , Drive semi will be home this afternoon Thanx Bert ($100 Toast ) won't be good

One has to be a bit careful when bypassing safety switches.
It is very easy to cross up wires and send voltages down the coil eartout wire,
Nothing kills a module faster than pumping volts down the earth wire.
