crank case breather

how to check and replace a crank case breather on a 22 HP Briggs & Stratton engine.

Engine smokes a little when started and occasionally when cutting grass in a sharp turn.

have to add oil every time we use it.
 
Since we do not have enough info to give detailed instructions it will have to be generic without pictures and the extra stuff.
Breather tube is connected to the bottom or side of the air filter housing and goes to engine. You remove air filter housing and blow carb cleaner in the tube. Then change oil and put back together.

Probably wont be a breather issue but more of an oil leak, oil seal component problem or wrong viscosity of oil being used.
