I just save everything. The time will come when you will need a part. I am sure there is some other air filter and bulb Assembly that will work on it. On the mower I would just change the carb or make my own gaskets.

Usually when I get a machine that's helpless I take everything salvageable off it except the block the head and the deck and handle a go in the scrap metal pile I keep all other pieces for a period of time until my shop gets to cluttered then my scrap metal guy runs over as soon as I call him

Lowes has primer bulbs they have a 4 pack for two cycle style all different sizes 5$ and a 3 pack dry style different sizes 10$
My local Bumper to bumper sells generic bulbs,...$28 a piece..not worth it..
Shipping from the US won't be any cheaper when one adds the freight , border charges and dollar exchange.

closest mcculloch dealer is 500 km south of me and he stocks nothing on this model and is not interested in ordering any.
Like i said it's wiser to just chuck the thing and keep using the scyth,..no noise no break downs no gas;)

It happens. Just yesterday someone threw away a brand new 55 gallon Rubbermaid garbage can. It had a small scuff on it so I painted it and now it looks new again...lol

Can you believe somebody had this snowblower for free at the end of there driveway. Of course it wasn't running, but that wasn't stopping me. It needed the second stage Compleatly taken off and heated, straightend, and rewelded. The paint was touched up also, works like new...It was a quite a bit of work but I loved it.I get more enjoyment out of free projects like this than buying a new one.People don't fix anything anymore,it's a shame.

Very nice find,, fortunately I don't have much use for one of those here in south texas. lol but it looks dang near brand new

The only nice thing about snow is if you don't have to drive in it!
