I am sure the neighbors think I am crazy still mowing every week this time of year, but until the leaves are completely disposed of I keep mowing.

High lift blades right out the chute. Eventually, everything gets pulverized.

probably because they dont know that the blade mulches the grass :D
It doesn't mulch the grass unless it is a mulching blade.

Most mowers here have blades designed to simply cut the grass and throw it in the direction of the bag.

I use a mulching plug and mulching blades on my z749 with good results. Most of the time I cut myown lawn with the older L130 mower with regular blades. These larger clippings are easily seen the first or second day and after that not so much. Is there any advantage to mulching vs. regular blades other than appearance? I thought the clippings break down fast either way.

I only use my bagger in the fall....for leaves. It is just a waste of time for grass.
