B&S High Capacity Voltage Regulator in Spec?

I have had good luck with the Menard's batteries. And the 6 month exchange warranty isn't bad either.
Trickle charging your mower battery at 2 amps about once a month throughout the year will extend the life probably by about double. Most folks don’t do this and therefore buy a new battery more frequently.

Things you take into account is most people don't own chargers, Most people store their mower in a location without electric to plug in a charger, and the majority of people don't even own the wrench to remove the bolts that hold the wires to the battery terminals, so they could remove the battery and charge the battery in a location with electric so they can plug in the charger.

So true and costly.

A 1A tender is less than $40 and pays for itself. Use in the winter/summer for your car and equipment batteries, especially if you are not using every day.

Also most people don't know this because they didn't read the manual.
