hi guys, I recently garbage picked a model 8238AE lawn boy and it has the electric start. im wanting to remove the starter and just use a manual recoil. is there anyway to remove the starter and keep the manual recoil or does it have to remain together?

I got my D600 running great but it seems to have a knock noise while running. I have a considerable amount of crank deflection and I think this is causing it. are the crank bearings serviceable and if so where do I purchase them?

I had my carb apart and decided to drill the main jet to .027" it seems to have helped my engine power at high rpm but at low speed I picked up a surge or hunt. I thought this was caused by a lean condition? can a rich condition cause this as well? I am replacing the oil seals this weekend also...

i recently rebuilt an 11hp carb and used it on my 12hp briggs. It runs perfect but I was wondering if the carbs are the same for the 11 and 12? they have removable venturis and im not sure if they are different sizes. does anyone know?
