Are you supposed to put grease or oil on the intake and exhaust stems, springs, etc.? I noticed the intake stem was difficult to put back in. The exhaust valve was easy. I'm assuming it was because of the intake valve seal.

Craftsman 917.376742 The wheels bend inwards at the top (oversized rear wheels). Is this normally caused by the arm brackets? I tried to push the bottom of the wheel to straighten it out, but it goes back. Is the arm bracket just weak? I'm debating if the new arm brackets will fix the issue.

How much grease do you apply? Do you just apply it under the plastic bushing?

What type of grease works best for the bushing? I was thinking about using some marine grade grease I have on hand.

I cleaned the carb, and it seems to be running fine now. The rear wheels will not spin backwards and the self propel system isn't engaging. Do you think this could be maintenance related (belt, etc.).
