you could probably get a brand new one for $2,600; so, I wouldn't go more than $2,100. If you decided to trade it back soon after or sell it privately it's NOW 3 years old. changed that 7 to a 3 - - - edited due to malfunctioning fingers... 🙄

I have the same back issue and I use the long grabber as mentioned above. I also have a "Yamahauler" golf cart to load them into and then either dump them in the back-40 to break down, or dump in a burn-pit . .. .

no excuse for letting it get like that when the engine is totally accessible with an air hose or water hose. My IS2600 gets totally cleaned after each mowing. Radiator screen gets pulled and cleared as well as the radiator cleared of silt and crude..... pay me now or pay me later.....

I'l start by asking what is the actual make of just the engine on this generator? Then I'll say that if it's starting via the electric battery then listen to echo what "slomo" stated in post #2.... I'll finish by saying that there's probably rust on the fly wheel and/or the armature preventing...

did you ever get this issue figured out. 3-1/2" - 4" is not high at all, that's pretty much my standard cutting height.... if I'm gone for a month I'll have to cut anywhere from 9" - 12" and only have to slow down my speed too about 1/2 - 2/3rds normal speed.

do you have any of it? They only need a small piece to measure the inside diameter. Then just get 6 - 8", route it to where it goes and cut off any remaining....

do you have the old hose..? If so, just take it to any auto store and have them match it up . . . . .

buy some Moth Balls and put them into a baggie, pin prick the baggie a lot, then place the baggie under the cowl and on top of the engine shroud to keep rodents from building any nests in there ....
