I happened on this video of a 1937 Jacobsen -- almost all original. And, yes, it's a two-stroke.

i had one of these with a square tank and a more open deck,the metal tag said worthington mower co. cant find anything on them,the blade was a cone with triangle blade tips

Here is a picture of my 1976 Cub Cadet 1650. It is still very dependable and a great help.

Nice pic of your 1976 Cub. They had the Bicentenial models that year also.

Hi I thought id post a few pics of my mower, (well, garden tractor). Its a belt drive 3 speed hi/low ariens yt1138. The mower deck didnt work so i took it off, and made a few modifications to the tractor. I changed the size of a few of the pulleys to make it speed up. It now goes 16 mph, which is why the front tires are almost worn through. Its a lot of fun and is very useful when i hook up my wagon. Yeeeeeehaaa!:biggrin:

Is that belt supposed to be covered? Looks dangerous to be near your right foot.

I just got it last week, and yesterday was the first time I started it up. Yep I need a belt gaurd. I got to find one or make one.
