Disappointment but am going to run it anyway unless a block falls in my hands

When I studied Anthropology in college, we covered an entire semester on the problem known as "Urban Sprawl".

This has happened to many cultures in all different countries and keeps on happening. Utopia is just a metaphor that quickly becomes a dystopia.

Basically, humans exhaust all of the resources in an area to the point where the entire populations migrate to a new area and the process begins all over.

Go to any large city and they are in decay and many in ruin. Even the small towns are following the same trend.
 
Wanted to close out this thread. Got a new block, new valves, new oil slinger - governor, new cam, piston assembly with rod. Engine was completed last night, mowed the yards today. Very quiet mechanically. Old engine always had a little rattle/knock in it, this one is like a sewing machine. Governor held it at 3400 RPM when I started it, adjusted that down to 3150+/- using a round spring wire tachometer. Engine is smooth. Should outlive me. Thanks to all who who answered many questions.
