Here in the Pac Northwest, the mowing season is pretty much over, BUT, the leaf clean-up season is in full swing.
With the variety of different trees, I will continue to pick up leaves untill almost Christmas.
The Maples are done, the Oaks and Alders are almost finished but the Apple and Poplars still have lots of leaves.
I'm really thankful for my Cyclone rake!

Thanks for turning Off the Caps lock...
but I don't need the religious 'Doom & Gloom'... the only "end that is near" is the end of the mowing season... makes no difference what religion or lack there of... for the most of us, the grass is slowed or stopped till next spring... :smile:KennyV

HEY Kenny I Do Not Want to Sway anyone to Any Religion. I know that it is A VERY Touchy Subject, So Well just leave it like that, OK? Aloha! Kalaukia

Sounds great to me....
A little bit of your weather right now, would also sound good... It's really cooling down... Most of the leaves are now off the trees, another wk of mowing leaves and it will be time to mount the Snow Blower... :smile:KennyV

All done as of yesterday.
Wow, rather you than me!

Yesterday we had temperatures nearly at zero (Celsius) so I don't think I'd have wanted to run my mower at that temperature!

Yeah, I miss getting my Mountfield out weekly to cut the grass, but she's sitting in the shed now with no fuel, and probably enjoying the break.

The very first day the grass starts growing again, and I'll be getting her out, filling the fuel tank up and getting back into the mowing season with my reliable mower.

Yep, those two words in the same sentence - Reliable, mower

Here in NY the mowing season is over. Just did my last mower repair job for the season, installed a used carburetor on a John Deere B&S engine and mowed my front yard to test it but lawn didn't need mowing. My snow blower is all serviced and ready to go. Calling for snow by the end of this week, but sure hope they aer wrong.

No snow blower for me! Just my trusty shovel and some muscle!

No oil changes, no fuel, no problems
