Is your mowing season over now ?

mowing is over here have had flurries twice snow is forcasted for tuesday night time to hunt now no time for mowing any way.:smile:

We usually finish cutting around Thanksgiving. Final blowing of lawns mid December.

I finish mowing by December 1st, and sometimes do leaf clean-up until Christmas!!

Hi All

Next week going to do the last one , it's forecast to be 50 or 60 next week and all the leaves have falling now so we can do the last mowing of the year. I think it was in Aug the last time i mowed it's been so dry here that we haven't need to mow. It could use a mowing now. Then when the mower is all warmed up it's time to change the oil and oil filter with fresh oil. And put a new air filter on to, get it ready for next year mowing clean up deck new blades next year i think there isn't to much to sharpen now.:licking:

Hey LMFanatic! I like your style! I really try to extend our season as much as we can. For us it is all about the weather. One year, we had a very warm December, we finished our last cleanup new year's eve. I loved it.

There's still mowing to be done around here but it's less frequent. Every two weeks is the rule now.

The leaves are turning... this weekend or next should be the peak. :thumbsup:

Well my season is almost done. Lets just say with the weather we are fixing to get it mite be all done but clean up. A foot of rain that could turn to SNOW if the cold front hits us right this weekend. Starting Sunday.

As for us, we have entered the "blow the property , then cut the lawn phase". We do not cut route anymore, too many leaves. We do a final cutting after the last cleanup. We usually blow each property at least four or five times each leaf season.
